Together, we can do so much for Oklahoma's animals and the people who love them.

This year, we are dedicating #GivingTuesday to the thousands of dogs and cats who have been saved and supported through our many lifesaving programs, like Unchain OK, anti-cruelty efforts, and our Community Pet Pantry.

Please consider giving the gift of rescue, healing, and more for #GivingTuesday!

Your donation is going to be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $15,000 through December 14.

Unchain OK

One of our most impactful and unique programs is Unchain OK, which helps find alternative, more humane solutions for constantly chained dogs. Chaining is one of the most common forms of animal abuse and neglect in our state. Sadly, it is also legal across much of Oklahoma. The goal is always to find ways to unchain a dog, but when that is not possible, our team provides supplies - such as lightweight tieouts, insulated dog houses, kennels, food, trollies, and so much more - to make chained dogs' lives as comfortable as possible.

Anti-Cruelty Program for Law Enforcement and Animal Rehabilitation

Today, OAA's Anti-Cruelty Program and #NoExcuseforAnimalAbuse tagline are widely known throughout the law enforcement community.

OAA's program provides CLEET-certified trainings, legal forms, on-site assistance during animal seizures, financial rewards for information in cruelty cases, and medical support through a network of veterinarians across the state.

We never want a law enforcement officer to feel like they don't have the resources to help an animal.

Another major component of this program is animal rehabilitation. Animals, like Fern, who have suffered severe abuse and neglect usually require major veterinary intervention to help them heal.

Community Pet Food Pantry

A critical part of OAA's mission is to keep animals out of Oklahoma's overcrowded shelters. One way in which we do this is through our Community Pet Food Pantry, which provides free nutritious pet food to struggling families. Anyone is able to access free pet food through our pet pantry anytime they need it. OAA also works with numerous partner organizations to distribute pet food throughout our community, including the unsheltered population.

This is just a small peek at our many programs and resources for animals and pet parents. You can find more about us at www.AnimalAllianceOK.org.
